  Climbing Imja Tse (6,189 m) This trek is designed to showcase, three of the most attractive valleys in the Sherpa country: Gokyo, Khumbu, and lmja. In the valley of Gokyo we will have the chance to go up Gokyo Ri (5,318 m), with a splendid panoramic view of Cho Oyu, Gyachung Kang, Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cholatse, and Tawache. In the valley of Khumbu we will go up Kala Pathar (5,450 m) and visit the Everest base camp (5,350 m). In the valley of lmja we will have the opportunity of ascending Chukkung Ri (5,840 m) and lmja Tse (6,189 m). We return to Lukla via Thyangboche and Namche Bazaar. This trek is designed for people who have some experience with mountain treks and desire to go up a 6,000 m Himalayan peak. |
