Gathering at the Mad Monk Bar for a drink before dinner at Lingka or Gawa Restaurant, or for after-hours fun, is a highlight for guests. Located adjacent to reception in the main lobby, the Mad Monk Bar is an ideal venue for you to unwind. It is named after Drukpa Kunley (1455-1529) also known as The Divine Madman of the Dragon Lineage.

The Blue Poppy Suite and the Takin Suite both have charming views of the valley and hotel grounds. Each has a living room with private balcony and a spacious bedroom and bathroom with Swedish underfloor heating. With 157 square metres of space, this suite provides plenty of room for you to relax in.

A sitting area with leather sofas and a private balcony make these spacious rooms luxurious and private.

The Royal Raven Suite provides the ultimate Bhutanese experience. It is named in part to honour Uzha Jarog Dongchen - the Raven Crown of Bhutan, a symbol of Mahakala and protective deity of the first Zhabdrung.
